Building Immersive Storytelling Experiences Across Platforms
"Telling a story transmedia-style involves one of two processes, actually. Either you take a single story and you splinter it across multiple media, or you start with one story and you keep adding pieces on to it ad infinitum."
- Andrea Phillips

A good story is much more than the words being used to tell it. It's an experience that's impossible to forget. Or, to put it simply, you'll know a good story when you feel it. The it, of course, is immersion.
There's no shortage of ways to invite immersion. Whether it be TV, or novels, or comics, each medium brings forward new opportunities to reward your audience for their continued engagement with your story, and perhaps the most rewarding form of storytelling is that of transmedia.

Not every story needs to be transmedia, but I approach every idea as if it could be. One of my greatest assets as a writer is a lifelong curiosity and the voracious need to ask "What if?" Transmedia happens when "What if?" is applied beyond the page.
